Birth of the Earth #3 - Jesus' Example of Showing Lineage

Jesus' Example of Showing Lineage Back to God

Jesus is the perfect representation of God because Jesus only spoke the words God gave Him, "Spiritual Lineage." He only does the things He sees God do, "Physical Lineage," and Jesus is always rejoicing in God, His father, "Emotional Lineage." Let's look at how Jesus showed these types of lineage backwards in time to God, creator of Heaven and earth.

Jesus, as the son of God, proves He is God's son by doing what God does. As such, He makes peace between God and man, Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 7:15, 14:33. How does Jesus make peace? Jesus rebukes boldly just as it is written in Proverbs 10:10-11. Remember, it was God who rebuked boldly when He cursed the ground at the fall in Genesis 3.

He who winks the eye causes trouble, but he who boldly reproves makes peace. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence, Proverbs 10:10-11 (RSV 1962)

*** Please Note ***
The Revised Standard Version is quoted here because of the key of repetition discussed in "God's Hermeneutics." Think of it this way, the mouth of the righteous is a fountain of Life because the righteous only speak the words of God who is Life. The words of God are spirit and they convict as to righteousness, sin and judgment. Hence, those who speak God's words rebuke and encourage to cause the sinner to turn and be built up in God, ready to do good works, 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

The phrase "but he who boldly reproves makes peace" in its original language consists of three Hebrew words:
  1. ‏שָׂפָה‎ Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary H8193 - which has a root from either H5595 (to scrape) or H8192 (to abrade). H8193 is there used to convey the idea of termination.
  2. אֱוִיל‎ Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. H191 - to be perverse.
  3. לָבַט‎ Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. H3832 - to overthrow.
The literal meanings of these three words paint a picture of what is described in Leviticus 14:41-43; Judges 1:7; Job 2:8; and Ezekiel 26:4. Each of these passages describes the process of scraping infected tissue away from the uninfected tissue in the hope of preserving the good tissue. So, scholars are just as correct to interpret this phrase as "a babbling fool will be ruined" as "he who boldly reproves makes peace." The reason is both interpretations make a distinction between the clean and the unclean. The result of this distinction is the same as either interpretation.

If man does the deeds of Satan then they are sons of Satan. Additionally, if man does the deeds God does, then man demonstrates lineage once again back to God via man's works or doing the greater works than the signs and wonders that Jesus did:

You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies. John 8:44

Jesus, on the other hand, made peace between man and God by dying on behalf of man. The opposite of what man did at the fall in Genesis 3. Mankind sinned against God whereas Jesus never sinned. Mankind, therefore, deserves death and destruction for all eternity in hell (that place where God put all His wrath, burning hatred, and darkness in order to construct hell as the opposite of heaven). But Jesus does not deserve hell and so now resides in heaven. So, because Jesus took our penalty upon Himself we can therefore live with Jesus through faith in Him.

But, how does all this show lineage back to God? Simple, Jesus, after He was condemned and died, returned to the Father from which He originally came. Jesus first had to make peace with God while Jesus was in the flesh of His human form. Otherwise, flesh would not be allowed to return to God from which it came, Romans 11:36, 1 Corinthians 15:28, etc. Jesus returned to His father of flesh, (that which gives birth to flesh), when Jesus was laid in the tomb, the dust of the earth from which all flesh was taken and returns. But, Jesus also returned to His Father in heaven who is also spirit and that which gives birth to spirit.

As the perfect representation of God, Jesus literally accomplished all the things His Father in Heaven and His father in flesh gave Him to do. In other words, Jesus did what He saw God do, He said what God taught and told Him to say, and He rejoiced always in the Father having His delight in mankind IN CONJUNCTION WITH fulfilling the law and prophets handed down by His fleshly fathers. All three, the way of His flesh, the words of His spirit, and the joy of His countenance testified in agreement with God's, words of truth, enactments of flesh, and sounds of joy AS WELL AS IN AGREEMENT with what the father of flesh said, did, and rejoiced in.

So if Jesus' perfect representation of God shows lineage back to God, how does all flesh show lineage back to God after all, man is not the most righteous of creatures? That's in the next article.
