Birth of the Earth #2 - Birth Defined Biblically
Birth Defined
The birth of the earth actually has nothing to do with traveling through and exiting a birth canal. So, let's take a good look at what birth actually means.
The birth of the earth actually has nothing to do with traveling through and exiting a birth canal. So, let's take a good look at what birth actually means.
The very first time the English word "birth" is used in the Holy Bible is in
Genesis
4:1. The word "birth" means to show lineage. In other words, to show
lineage means that there is a similar existence to an original from which the copy came from. This requires
a starting point
from which the lineage started and replications of that source through time.
For example, a child will bear a physical resemblance to both father and mother. For another example, God commanded in Genesis 1 many things to take shape and then to reproduce after their "kind." Thus, the starting point defines the "like kinds" that prove or show lineage back to the original.
The similar existence is not limited to physical appearance. For example: Jesus defined "sons of God" as those who make peace, Matthew
5:9. Why? Because the sons do what they see the Father do, John 5:19. Their
actions point back to the original start, the actions or as the Bible calls them enactments of the God of Peace.
For the earth to show lineage means that the earth must bear some resemblance back to its source just like Adam was made in the image of God, Genesis 1:26. Simplistically speaking, when Adam's words, actions and countenance all replicate the words, actions and countenance of God, then Adam's words, actions, and countenance also show lineage pointing back to God. This is why Jesus said that the sons do and say the same thing as their father. It is also why Jesus was identified as the PERFECT representation of God. Jesus' words, actions and countenance were exactly the same as God's words, actions and countenance. All of creation functions in this manner. It all shows lineage back to God in one way or another. It is only a matter of seeing it correctly.
Do not be tempted to think that showing lineage back to God is equivalent to "becoming" God as there is such a thing as mimicking mockery. Hence, it must be seen correctly. Rather, showing the lineage of righteousness points BACKWARD to the original which is God. Here is an example of this principle at work over many hundreds of years:
Consider, a great grandchild does not be come the original king even though the grandchild may become king long after the original king is dead. Yet, the main historical policy for selecting kings, queens, and nobility is the physically birthed lineage of royal offspring. But, the starting point of royalty begins when an individual has distinguished himself by accomplishing great and admirable acts on behalf of a group of people. These acts are usually those that deliver people from their foes. The people then agree to make that person their king and expect the king's progeny to do and speak similarly toward future generations.

Now look at what happened to Jesus when He victoriously conquered the foes opposing His Jewish relatives.
When they were filled, He *said to His disciples, "Gather up the leftover fragments so that nothing will be lost." So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said, "This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world." So Jesus, perceiving that they were intending to come and take Him by force to make Him king, withdrew again to the mountain by Himself alone. John 6:12-15
Jesus
delivers the populous with signs and wonders and they come
together unified in purpose to make Jesus king. Thus, humans are
recognizing the
great and mighty deeds promised by God and seeking to make Jesus king. Contrast
this behavior with that of the Israelites back in the Old Testament.
When
God delivered the Israelites from slavery to the Egyptians doing many
signs
and wonders including the parting the red sea, Israel rejects God as
their king in favor of a human king like the other nations, 1 Samuel 8:7.
The lineage of all the signs and wonders that traced back to the one
and only God of all Gods was rejected by the Israelites in favor for a lessor
and human king that could not perform such signs and wonders. Hence, Samuel's
anger in 1Samuel
8:6.
But the thing was displeasing in the sight of Samuel when they said, "Give us a king to judge us." And Samuel prayed to the Lord. The Lord said to Samuel, "Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them. "Like all the deeds which they have done since the day that I brought them up from Egypt even to this day—in that they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. "Now then, listen to their voice; however, you shall solemnly warn them and tell them of the procedure of the king who will reign over them." 1 Samuel 8:6-9
He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. John 1:10-11
Ultimately, when the Israelites fulfilled John 1:10-11 by crucifying Jesus on the cross, they rejected God as King a second time.
In like manner, the birth or lineage of the earth points all the way back in time to God just as signs and wonders point back to the God who has done them. This is why it is written that we are all without excuse as the entire creation declares God's majesty, Romans 1:20. All genealogies also point back to an original singular genetic source. That source is God just as it is written in Romans 11:36. Signs and wonders and genealogies cannot point back to
"nothing" as a source. See by article titled "Ex Nihilo" for the reasons why.
Regardless which type of lineage is shown, all lineages point back to the original. The idea of showing lineage cannot be
separated from the founding father which terminates the lineage at the very
beginning of the line. So, the birth of the earth shows lineage back to the source of the earth just like humans are birthed and show lineage back to the source of mankind.
