Unworthy - Horse Pucky!

In the NASV(1995) version, the word "unworthy" only appears 4 times in the entire Bible. Genesis 32:10, Luke 17:10, Acts 13:46, 1 Corinthians 11:27. In Genesis 32:10, Israel uses the word to describe himself to God while in the process of reminding God of His own promise. This is actually an example of Luke 17:10 in action.  So you too, when you do all the things which are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’Luke 17:10. However in John 15:15, Jesus redefines His disciples as "NO LONGER SLAVES." Why? because slaves do not know their master's business. When the disciples received the Holy Spirit, they became apostles because they both knew the Father's will and had the power to do the Father's will including but not limited to signs and wonders. The disciples know the Father's business because Jesus revealed it to them and because the disciples received it by faith. Thus, we are...

The Sign of the Leaven

Speaking to the religious leaders of His day, Jesus said, John 5:45-47 45 "Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope. 46 "For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. 47 "But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" Even thought Moses and the Queen of the South lived many years before Jesus was born, they could judge and condemn the religious leaders of Jesus day, Matthew 12:42 ; Luke 11:31 . This was because Moses and the Queen of the South heard the testimony of lesser prophets and believed that testimony about the promised Messiah. Jesus' testimony was the greatest testimony of the Father because it was a three-in-one testimony, 1 John 5:5-6 . Yet, the religious leaders in Jesus' day became arrogant by knowledge, 1 Corinthians 8:1 . Therefore, they were guilty of searching the scriptures to gain eternal life...

Man is the Ruler of the World

Genesis 1:26 is the verse in which God gave man the authority over the world. The words of God cannot be broken, John 10:35 . Not even by man's unfaithfulness to keep God's words. Yet, many have heard that man gave authority over the world to Satan when Adam fell. For those of you who still think that Satan is the ruler of the world, please see the other article tagged *Ruler of the World."   If the Father gave all things to Jesus, John 3:35 , 13:3 , then Satan had no authority to give anything to Jesus had Jesus bowed down to worship Satan in the desert. Thus, man has always been the ruler of the world. This is why Jesus spoke Matthew 18:7 which reads:   "Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!"    Man is the one who brings the evil into the world that causes misery, death and destruction because man is still the ruler of the ...
